Hand Drawn Watercolor Flower Bouquet of Wildflowers: Poppy, Chamomile, Cornflower, Fireweed, Fern. Botanical Illustration in Vintage Style of Summer Decoration Isolated on White. Floral Illustration.

Bring a fresh flower to create a community bouquet or get one as you enter the Welcome Hall.  Take home a flower given to you by someone else in the ritual.  (To avoid the climate-chaos effects of imported blooms, we will supply 150 California-grown flowers, but if you have access to some local flowers, bring them!)  Rev. Norbert Capek created the Flower Communion in the Unitarian Church of Prague in 1923 and his widow brought it to the U.S. after fleeing the Nazi regime.

*Before the service: Labyrinth meditation in the meadow at 9:30.

*After the service:  Forum with Keith Atwater: America’s (Other) Home-grown Religions at 12 noon in the Fahs Classroom
