Even if you don’t believe the traditional Easter story about the resurrection of Jesus, it holds meaning and insight. It evokes the need for keeping hope alive (and renewing it) in times of grief, uncertainty, and injustice.  Indeed, it was in times of tyranny and anguish that the story gave hope to the grieving and fearful followers of the teacher from Nazareth.
