Dictionary.com defines random as “proceeding, made, or occurring without definite aim, reason, or pattern.” Young people have twisted it into a buzzword meaning “unknown, unidentified, or suspiciously out of place.” How random do you believe our world and lives are? And how does your answer influence what you think about the “big questions” – those questions we hope religion and spirituality help us consider deeply?
