Celebrating the Harvest

by

Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento

Sunday, July 26, 2026

We will come together for our 11th annual Harvest Celebration with our traditional tomato communion. In the past years, Rev. Lucy has shared homilies about tomatoes, corn, peaches, watermelon, zucchini, blackberries, cantaloupe, eggplant, cucumbers and avocado. This year we celebrate celery (no really, we do).  Rev. Lucy would love to hear your stories about celery. Do you love it or hate it? Or are you totally indifferent? Do you have a memory from childhood or from last week that you would like to share? Send your thoughts to Rev. Lucy.

Those of you coming in person can bring gifts from your garden to share; everyone can take a treat home from someone else’s garden. Let’s celebrate the harvest.

*Before service: Embodied Spiritual Practices at 9:30 am

*After the service:  People of Color Caucus meet & greet at noon.

*After the service: Exploring Unitarian Universalism at noon with Rev. Roger
