When Nothing Can Be Done
When Nothing Can Be Done

Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento
Sunday, July 5, 2026
The passing of time offers us the gift of perspective, which can be an affirming source of comfort. It can also be painful if we recognize we might have made better choices, or if we “only knew then what we know now.” Join us today for reflections about coping with regret and finding the grace to move forward.
Rev. Dr. Bonnie Dlott is a Starr King seminary grad who trained to be a cell biologist before receiving her call to the ministry. She is the minister emerita at the Napa congregation and has served as a contract minister in Santa Rosa and Petaluma. Rev. Bonnie and her husband Rick have two adult children who live in the area, one who attends UUSS. They are the proud grandparents of two grandchildren, one who occupies the UUSS nursery most Sundays.
*Candles of Joys and Sorrows during the service (first Sunday of each month).
*Before the service: Labyrinth meditation in the meadow at 9:30.
*After the service: “American Inspirations: Where Music and Arts Meet,” with Keith Atwater at noon, Fahs Classroom.
