Our larger Unitarian Universalist Association is committed to affirming the “inherent worth and dignity of every person,” the first of the seven UUA Principles. Human dignity motivates most UUs in our spiritual and ethical lives. Yet examples of human evil can make us question this faith in human worth. Let’s wrestle with this question.
