A Message from your Annual Pledge Drive Committee
Welcome to the 2026-2027 UUSS Annual Pledge Drive! Starting March 15, we invite every member and friend to submit a financial pledge to help our congregation thrive. Your contributions are the heartbeat of our community, accounting for 75% of our entire budget. Together, we ensure UUSS remains a force for healing and action in the world.
We hope that you can increase your pledge by stepping up to the next level of giving as shown on our stair step graphic. If you are able to increase your pledge more, we welcome that additional help toward reaching our goal.

Your Annual Pledge to UUSS
Each year, members and friends of UUSS make a renewed financial commitment to keep our doors open, keep our community thriving, keep our spiritual life strong, and keep our voices and actions a force for healing in Sacramento and beyond.
Annual pledging provides 75% of the revenue UUSS relies on, so your annual pledge is the lifeblood of our beloved community. The vast majority of our expense budget supports our ministers and staff. We compensate them to lead and support our many programs, maintain and improve our building and grounds, and ensure the smooth operation of UUSS.
Throughout the year, new members, newcomers, and friends are invited to make a pledge at any point for the current budget year (ending June 30). Then, when the annual spring pledge drive begins, you may participate with the UUSS community in making a new annual pledge.
An annual pledge enables the Board and other volunteer leaders to set a realistic budget for each year. You may wish to consult the UUA Fair Share Giving Guide to determine your pledge amount.
