Pledge Drive Has Begun! Ends April 21

Our Stewardship kick off today was full of shining moments! Stewardship Co-Chair Celia Buckley led off with a funny, direct, and engaging testimonial introducing our goal: next year’s funding of everything that makes our church community not just function but also thrive, with special attention this year to bringing all our staff up to a fair and equitable wage. This will require a 15% increase in our annual budget, which requires a 15% increase in the amount raised by our pledge drive.
The choir rocked the message with a rhythmic and timely number called “Connected.”
Reverend Roger’s sermon had most of the congregation laughing very hard though he insisted that “Committed, Loving, Generous” is NO LAUGHING MATTER.
We hope to have some of these highlights available for later enjoyment, so stay tuned.
