Joanna Macy was a UU-adjacent, American environmental activist, author and scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory and deep ecology.   Though she died in July of this year, her wisdom lives on to help us through these challenging times.   In her books and workshops over more than 60 years, she helped people to move beyond despair and into action.
