In these times, terms like “abundance” and “manifestation” are ubiquitous. Social media and AI provide infinite information, perspectives, services, and social developments. We are expected to be our “highest best selves.” We are more aware of our traumas, dramas and self-care needs than ever. It is both a thrilling and pressurized time in our human evolution. However, teachings from humanity’s spiritual and wisdom traditions suggest an alternative orientation. We will explore a teaching from the Christian text which posits a “divine” view of such comparative currency, turning the equation of sufficiency and “enough-ness” on its head in a manner most life-giving.
