This fundraising dinner benefits more than 30 parents and children from Afghanistan who are supported by UUSS volunteers. The cooks among them will prepare a traditional Afghan buffet feast for you and your friends to return the
hospitality they have received from UUSS. Join us!
Tickets: $30 or more per adult; $5-$10 per child/youth.
We’re also asking for donations of summer clothes for 21 of our kids:

Ticket sales and cash donations will help refugee families to pay for legal asylum fees, rent, and other necessities.

Lists of family summer/early fall clothing needs and further directions will be at our table on April 21 and 28. We will also email it out to our mailing list as soon as the information is complete. Thank you for your interest. We can collect clothing up thru June 1.
