Dear Parkway Stewards and friends,

On January 8th, our group began its 2022 monthly cleanup efforts at Mile 6/7 North well, building on its strong efforts throughout 2021. Thirteen of us met and collected a total estimated amount of over 500 lbs. of trash, with piles left at the stairway and other significant piles, including the remains of an abandoned campsite, left beside the trail elsewhere. Thanks everyone for showing up and making a difference out there! And thanks to Dave Dawson for taking over when I had to leave early and for his photos.
