Finding Light On The Parkway, Tuesday, April 7, 2020

Hi, Folks,

I get excited when there’s a chance to get close enough to wood ducks to make a pleasing image. I’ve always found this beautiful species to be wary and ready to hide. By sitting patiently, quietly, unmoving by the pond at Effie Yeaw Nature Center, this group of three males and two females allowed me to reach out with a 400mm lens and make their photograph. Is the one duck saying, “C’mon you guys! Stay six feet away from me!”?

Here’s hoping that something gives you a pleasant surprise today!
