Your elected Board of Trustees meets monthly. Our next meeting will be Thursday, December 22 at 6:30 pm. Our meeting takes place in person in the UUSS library and on Zoom. You are welcome to join us either in person or by accessing the same Zoom link as the one used for the Sunday morning services.

We think it is very important to keep the congregation updated about current and upcoming conversations. The Board’s role is to oversee issues of UUSS finances, facilities, personnel, and long-range planning; it makes decisions on policies rather than management decisions. Appreciation

Thank you to the Auction Committee and all those who volunteered to make this year’s auction a huge success. Also thank you to everyone who donated and/or purchased auction items. It was a wonderful evening full of fun, food and laughter and it raised funds to help support the work of our church.

 Information from the November Board Meeting

• The Board approved the Policy for Use of UUSS Facilities to address the Sacramento homeless crisis and endorsed the guidelines as presented by the Homeless Resource Task Force. Click here to see the policy and guidelines.
• The board discussed ways to develop leaders within our congregation to ensure that our board and committees can continue to grow. We know that new voices are needed to reflect the current needs and values of our congregation. We will be working with the Program Council on ways to inform and educate members on ways they can be involved.

December Board Meeting

The agenda for the December 22 meeting  will be finalized at the Executive Committee meeting and posted the week of December 22. The main discussion will be setting budget priorities for next fiscal year.
