Hi, Folks, I’ve delayed this post to confirm whether the weather will allow us to do our usual Second Saturday (Feb. 9) cleanup of the Parkway’s UU mile. Unfortunately, we have a steady forecast for rain on both Friday and Saturday, making it unlikely that we’d be able to have a successful cleanup this weekend.
At the end of this year, many thanks are extended to a total of 61 UUs and friends who came together with helping hands to heal the small part of the world that is UUSS’s adopted mile of the American River Parkway. This morning’s cleanup endeavor resulted in the largest mass of abandoned trash yet recovered from the UU mile of the American River Parkway by a UU crew.
