Parkway Mile Cleanup Postponed This Saturday, February 9

Hi, Folks, I’ve delayed this post to confirm whether the weather will allow us to do our usual Second Saturday (Feb. 9) cleanup of the Parkway’s UU mile. Unfortunately, we have a steady forecast for rain on both Friday and Saturday, making it unlikely that we’d be able to have a successful cleanup this weekend.

This morning’s cleanup endeavor resulted in the largest mass of abandoned trash yet recovered from the UU mile of the American River Parkway by a UU crew. Parkway Cleanup This Saturday, Sept. 8

Since the next Saturday is “Second Saturday”, the UUSS Parkway Stewards group will have a cleanup of the UU mile of the American River Parkway on Sept. 8. The pleasant weather and Labor Day activities have probably left us with much to do to help restore the beauty of our mile. As usual, we’ll meet
