Rivkah K. Sass, Director/CEO of Sacramento Public Library speaks on Jordan’s Zaatarai refugee camp, established by the Syrians fleeing civil war. She will show pictures and talk about the camp she visits often. Her insights will help us better understand the situation there. We meet in the UUSS Library Thursday, November 8th at 10:45 AM until noon. Light refreshments are served and a $3 donation is appreciated.

Wonderful presentation about the camp in Jordan where Rikvah goes on her vacations. A heartening view about people working together and creating a community to the extent possible. A light in the Middle East wilderness.
I just met Rivkah on election day as she visited a local library/ballot drop-off center. I look forward to seeing her tomorrow morning, Thursday. Hope to see you, too! All welcome to Alliance programs.
