The Wildflower Daydreams Fashion Show will be held on March 2, 6-9 pm. Despite the best efforts of homophobic critics, the show will go on ! Drag queen “A La Mode” will be hosting, and guests of all ages are welcome.
Venue: Rocklin Event Center, 2650 Sunset Blvd., Rocklin.
Ticket prices: General admission: $45; VIP $75.
Proceeds go to our Community Partner, NorCal Resist.
UUSS folks may recall that at a Jan/24 Rocklin City Council meeting, right-wing religious leaders loudly objected to the fact that their city’s public hall would be rented out by Wildflower to host a fundraiser with a drag queen serving as MC, on the grounds that drag queens are “obscene” and “prey upon the youth”. Rocklin City Council is standing firm. Its our turn to do our part !
Please buy your tickets and show up to say No ! to homophobia, to support A La Mode and the fashion show, and to generate revenue for NorCal Resist !!!
