Program Council

Program Council members are charged with final authority and oversight responsibility for development and implementation of UUSS activities and program groups, consistent with the Strategic Plan and with our UUSS mission

“We come together to deepen our lives and be a force for healing in the world”.

The Program Council is composed of six members elected by the congregation. Council members serve two year staggered terms. They may serve consecutive terms if re-elected. Council members select a chair at their first meeting each church year. They meet monthly at UUSS. The Program Council includes a liaison appointed by the Board of Trustees to facilitate two-way communication. The ministers meet with and support the Program Council. A youth representative or co-representatives may be appointed annually by the Program Council.
