Defending Human Reason, Promoting Human Dignity: Let’s Hear it for Humanism!

Religious Humanism has had a home in Unitarian Universalism since the mid-1800s, affirming that you need not believe in God to be ethical, moral, spiritual, or worthy of respect. At its best, Humanism promotes mutual understanding, community-building, peace, and environmental sustainability. The values of human dignity, reason, freedom, and compassion continue to call us together. They call us forward with courage.
- Tai Chi/Qi Gong at 9:30 in the Fahs Room.
- Congregational Meeting right after the service; all are welcome; a quorum of members is needed to vote on the budget, strategic plan, and nominees. (Humanism also affirms the practice of democracy!)
