Theater One – Robert Green Ingersoll Play – Save the Date 7/13/25

Save the Date: Join us on Monday, July 13, 2025, immediately following the service, for a reading of a Robert Green Ingersoll play.
Next Reading: Our next reading will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 5:45 PM (or whenever you arrive). We will be reading either Mark Twain’s comedy “Is He Dead?” or Tom Stoppard’s “Travesties.”
Future Reading: We may also read Favorini’s “In the Garden of Live Flowers” in July.
About Our Group: We typically read shorter plays and follow with a discussion. We decide on a play-by-play basis if we would like to read for an audience.

A quick note that this performance will start at 12 noon, not immediately after the service, but with enough time for you to greet a few people and get a cup of coffee before heading over to the Fahs Classroom in the education building. Note that the People of Color Caucus’s presentation will take place at the same time in the Sanctuary and the monthly Newcomers’ Orientation will start 10 minutes after the service ends (please gather at the Welcome Table to meet your guide).
Also on the second Sunday of the month is the monthly Meet & Greet of the Young Adults Group!
A very busy July here at UUSS!

Please join us SUNDAY JULY 13, 2025 after service at noon in the FAHS ROOM for a one act, one man play about the famous ( at that time ) abolitionist, speaker, free-thinker, women’s rights advocate and known as “The Great Agnostic” . This man was father to Eva Ingersoll Brown, a suffragist.
