Saturday, August 1st in The Welcome Hall from 10AM to 1PM

​For those of us who aren’t participating in the Camping Experience this year we are going to be having some FUN of our own.

Elizabeth Leonard, our very own resident puppeteer, is bringing  her skills to Saturday Stitchers for our August meeting on the 1st.

The puppets and props being made are to be used in the August 30th performance of “Old Turtle” at UUSS during the  Sunday Morning Circle Service!

She is planning multiple stations for making papier mache and painting masks and a puppet. The puppet face is huuuuge – 3 feet in diameter. The masks are also not small at 18 inches in diameter. They need base coats and your help would be a big boost. The papier mache stations are also suitable for beginners. Wearing “work clothes” is highly recommended.

If you do not wish to participate in the theater activity bring your favorite hobby or crafts for the usual Saturday Stitchers activities.

Snacks to share are always welcome.
