First Plaques To Be Installed This Fall

On August 30th,we celebrated the installation of our Memorial Wall including a beautiful 40-foot mosaic tile river flowing across the space.  We will eventually be adding a privacy nook, and the area will be re-landscaped.

But there’s one more essential piece still to come: memorial plaques. That’s where you come in.

Please consider purchasing a memorial plaque to honor a deceased parent, spouse/life partner, or child, or a member/pledging friend of UUSS. We are hoping longtime members will collaborate to purchase plaques honoring UUSS founders.

Each ceramic plaque will be engraved with a single name, along with the deceased’ year of birth and year of death. Information about who can be named on a plaque, how many characters are available, etc. can be found at uuss.org/memorialwall along with the order forms.

Plaques will be installed twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. The first installation will take place sometime in November, with plaques ordered prior to November 1st.
