It is inspiring to work with the committee that plans and runs our annual pledge drive.  I want to extend my thanks to them for the many hours of collaborative conversation, the detail work and the big-picture thinking, and their own generosity toward the operating budget. It’s a lot of work for them, not to mention the other volunteers and our staff whose talents they call on for the many elements to this campaign, like the lovely logo by Jim Eastman,  the delicious lunch by Tiki Harlow (at noon Sunday, April 6), and the beautiful choral music of the Treble Ensemble (at noon Sunday, April 6), conducted by Christiana Quick-Cleveland.  Our Bookkeeper, Debrah, is quite supportive and detail-oriented, Elaine and Krystal in the Office provide important help and guidance, and our Webmaster, Dirk,  makes our Stewardship webpage and Facebook page quite appealing.  The simple online pledge form is easy to use.  Check it out now!  uuss.org/pledge
