Liberal church threatened after hateful video about its LGBT support

The United Church of Christ of the Loomis Basin has suspended worship in person due to violent threats it has received resulting from a misleading video online.
They have been attacked by the right-wing Project Veritas, which is notorious for generating highly edited, misleading, and hateful videos to discredit progressive organizations and activists, including some churches. It has targeted the Loomis church and its pastor because they provide a support group for youth who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender in Place County. This has led to hateful insults and vicious threats.
The United Church of Christ of the Loomis Basin needs our prayers and actions of solidarity. We honor their courage and hold them in our hearts. Find out more at its website: www.loomisucc.org
