Pacific Western Region – Regional Assembly
UUSS has been selected as the location of the next Pacific Western Region (PWR) Assembly, Rising Resilient, on April 10-12, 2026. To support the event, technical upgrades to the Wi-Fi system at UUSS are being evaluated. Grant funding from PWR is available for this purpose. Stay tuned for opportunities to volunteer to help with hosting the PWR Assembly event or to provide local hospitality for out-of-town UU visitors. Safety Committee
Progress continues toward the formation of the new Safety Committee at UUSS. Patty Innes is the Board liaison for this committee. If you are interested in serving UUSS on this committee, email 

UUSS Budget Update
As of December 31, UUSS was half-way through the 2025-2026 fiscal year. Thanks to our many generous pledgers, we are on track to meet or even exceed this year’s budgeted income. Hooray! You all have also been generous with plate donations. We have average plate donations of over $8,000 per month this year, allowing us to give about $4,000 to each of our Community Partners. Annual Pledge Drive Committee
The Annual Pledge Drive committee is working hard to launch our 2-week pledge drive starting on March 15. Watch your US mailbox for a personalized letter from the committee in the 1st week of March. If you do not receive a letter, please visit the pledge drive table before or after church, starting on March 15.

Nominating Committee

This elected committee is working now on recruiting UUSS members to serve in elected leadership, See their articles in the Sunday Blue Sheet and What’s Happening emails on Friday and visit their table during coffee time in the Welcome Hall.

Program Council

Searching for Our Next Soup Sunday Leaders! We are looking for a new Coordinator (or a duo!) to lead our beloved Soup Sunday tradition. If you enjoy bringing people together over a warm meal, this is the perfect spot for you.

Program Council invites your input on food fellowship opportunity suggestions! When, where, and how do you like to eat and meet new- and well-known-members of our community? After service? Your elected Board of Trustees meets monthly. Our next meeting will be Thursday, February 26, at 6:30 PM, on Zoom (by accessing the same Zoom link as the Sunday morning services) and in-person gathering in the library. You are welcome to join us!
