Unsung Hero Award

The Program Council selected VICTORIA OWENS as the 2023 UUSS Unsung Hero. Awarded on the basis of significant contributions to the congregation that are not well known, Victoria was named this year’s recipient for her efforts to maintain UUSS financial health during the COVID crisis. Her successful submissions for Federal Covid Relief funds allowed UUSS to retain its employees and subsequently allowed the BoT to pay off one of congregation’s mortgages.
