Join fellow UUs and our community to stand up against hate. After the events yesterday in Virginia, organizations around the country are coming together to “Stand in Solidarity with Charlottesville.” Here in Sacramento, we will have our own vigil for those all those who fought against hate, and those who were injured and lost their lives.
Last Thursday June 22, several members of our community represented UUSS at the dedication for the Habitat for Humanity house that we helped fund and build. Jan Fleming offered the family a gift on behalf of the congregation. Check out these picture of the finished house and families who are the proud new owners.
Thanks to all who came to the congregational meeting this past Sunday. I have posted a copy of my report to the congregation for all those who were unable to attend.
