UUSS – A Sacramento Church

Easy 4 mile walk on Dry Creek Parkway Bike Trail in Rio Linda. Very pretty rural hike. This is a dog-friendly trail (on leash). Meet at UUSS to carpool at 9:00 am. Rain cancels. 8 UUSS hikers enjoyed a very misty hike on January 25. Scenery of interest included many large MacMansions along the way and the lovely poetry and artwork featured on the walls of a water treatment plant. On our return walk, we encountered a platoon of National Guard soldiers, carrying imaginary rifles as they hiked along

10 Walking Boots hikers enjoyed a pleasant four mile hike at Point Pinole accompanied by breezes, birds, eucalyptus scents, distant views of Mt. Tam, a stroll on the fishing pier, and delightful company.
