Did you know..UUSS is a center of hospitality to the many refugees resettling in the Sacramento area. Since 2015, our Refugee Support program has provided Welcome Baskets to set up housekeeping, garden plots for families to grow food, monetary donations, and meals. Volunteers in the Mommy and Me program offer ESL classes for immigrant mothers concurrently with child care for their infants and toddlers.
