Reading & Responding to Poetry, Monday, April 4, with JoAnn Anglin

Experience a special poem and discussion on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. The next gathering will be April 4, at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom link uuss.org/online . All are welcome.
Join us Monday for the next Lectio Divina program to consider the poem, Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Glacier. Does that title sound familiar? Perhaps because its title and style are based on Wallace Stevens’ well-known poem, 13 Ways of Looking at a Blackbird.
The poet is Dr. Craig Santos Perez, a native of Guam, who directs the Creative Writing program at the University of Hawai’i. His poem can be found online here. As usual, we’ll gather via Zoom, joining from our UUSS website, just as if you were attending the Sunday service online. Your observations are welcome. Plan ahead for April 11, when the poem will be Milton’s Paradise Lost.
