Thanksgiving continues, in poetry, Monday, Dec. 2. JoAnn Anglin writes: Still Thanksgiving! Let’s do something a little different this Monday when we meet at 10:00 a.m. at uuss.org/online Choose your own poem to share! At www.poetryfoundation.org/collections/101693/the-cranberry-cantos you will find a range of poems to consider, on topics that include Toasts and Prayer; Family, Food, and Fellowship; The Season; and Gratitude. Or, you may have a related favorite that isn’t on this particular list; bring your own, if so. On Monday, you will read the poem you chose and tell us in a few sentences why it appeals to you. If you know how to screen-share the poem, more power to you!
JoAnn Anglin’s poetry appreciation group Lectio Divina meets 1st and 3rd Mondays at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom at uuss.org/online – the same link we use to enter a Sunday service.
