To join on Monday at 10:00 a.m., go to Zoom at uuss.org/online. JoAnn writes: It’s now been a week since the tragedy of 9/11 was commemorated after 22 years. Nearly everyone in our country felt disturbed and confused by that earlier event. Yet the unimaginable physical destruction of the World Trade Center has been “replaced” by new building. Did that event “replace” our thinking in any way? The poet Adam Scheffler considers what that means in his poem,1WTC. published in December, 2015. The poem is online at: https://www.rattle.com/1wtc-by-adam-scheffler/
We meet every 1st and 3rd Monday morning on Zoom. All are welcome! Questions? Email adultenrichment@uuss.org.
