Join Tiffany Urness at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17 for an “Introduction to Dream Insights” via Zoom Link; focusing on simple, non-intrusive methods of dream interpretation popularized by late UU minister, therapist and dream researcher Jeremy Taylor.
Do our bizarre and fanciful dreams have any particular meaning and relevance to our waking lives? Taylor held the deep conviction that “Dreams come to us in the service of health and wholeness” as agents of personal growth, creativity and social change. It may not be indigestion causing a nightmare, but our subconscious trying to get our attention by shouting at us! This Introduction will share strategies for decoding dream language, drawing from Taylor’s guidelines for ethical dream exploration in small lay-led groups.
Participants interested in joining a six-week follow-up series of small group Dream Work sessions on Zoom will be able to register after the Introduction. Dates: August 24 & 28, September 5, 12, 19, 26. The group is limited to eight members; preference given to those who are able to commit to attending most dates.
Support this program: There is no charge for the Introduction or the small group sessions, but freewill contributions are welcome. You may donate by PayPal at uuss.org/donate, text your amount to (855) 935-2216, [an initial setup is required] or mail a check to UUSS Adult Enrichment, UUSS, 2425 Sierra Blvd., Sacramento, 95825.
