A seven-week series on Sundays, January 23 – March 6, 2022, 12:00 to 1:50 p.m.
A free-wheeling discussion of beliefs in some form of Higher Power, centered around reading “Belief in God in an Age of Science” by John Polkinghorne. The series will begin by exploring our own beliefs and defining what deism and theism are, with the succeeding weeks each centering around a chapter of the book. (No one will be excluded if they did not do their homework!) If there is interest, we may become an ongoing group of like-minded explorers who will read similar works, or not, as the group decides. The format is to be decided by the group.
