- Exploring UUism: Join Rev. Roger Jones and longtime UUSS member Mary Howard for this month’s installment of the Exploring series: Faith. Come learn about the meaning(s) of “faith” for Unitarian Universalists. A different topic on the third Sunday of every month. In the Fahs Classroom, education building, 9:30-10:15 AM.
- Sunday Spiritual Practices: Join ministerial candidate Sangye Hawke for this week’s practice: meditation. No need to bring a cushion, as we use chairs, but if you’d like to do so, that’s fine. Room 6, education building, 9:45 AM.
- Family Ministry Team’s monthly planning meeting, Room 12 at the end of the education building, 9:00 AM. If you are interested in what the FMT does or supporting our upcoming events, send an email to .
- Child Care for infants and toddlers opens at 9:20 in the Room 11 Nursery, enabling adults to attend one of the above.
- After service: Newcomers’ Meet & Greet in the Library/Bookstore in the main building, 11:40-12:00. Lay leaders and long term members will happy to meet you in this smaller, quieter space after service. Bring your coffee! Child Care continues till 12:30.
- Forum on the UUA General Assembly: Several UUSS members will share their experiences at the June 2019 General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalist Association in Spokane WA. Imagine nearly 3,000 UUs celebrating, debating, voting, singing, worshiping, and eating together–and more. Come learn why you too would love going to GA, or just find out why we did. 12:00 noon in the Fahs Classroom in the education building. All welcome.
