Can we love a book but hate the political perspective of the author? Do we struggle to celebrate the achievements of those who have done harm in the process? These are challenging questions to consider in the age where the actions of other are debated and shared across social media. How do we manage to hold onto the good while recognizing the bad? 
*Spiritual Practice: Tai Chi & Qi Gong in the Fahs Classroom at 9:30
*Congregational Meeting after the service, online and in person. All Welcome.
To attend services and indoor UUSS programs in person, proof of being fully vaccinated (including a booster shot) is required along with a photo ID (or adult guardian/parent) for all individuals who are old enough to be eligible for vaccination. Parents’ Coffee & Conversation with Rev. Roger: Spiritual issues in rearing teenagers!
Sunday, November 12
From 9:10-10:10 AM in the Fahs Classroom. Coffee provided; bring any snack you’d like to eat or share. Whether your young person is involved with OWL, JHYG, SHYG, MUUGs, or other programs, feel free to come. This is to get to know one another and build more community among parents, guardians and grandparents of youth at UUSS, but if you have smaller kids and are curious about what’s to come, join us!
