UUSS Readers (book club) 📖

UUSS Readers meet monthly on the LAST Thursday; generally it is the fourth Thursday but some months have 5 weeks. We meet in Fahs at 7 PM. All are welcome, come every month or when you can.
Twice a year each person may submit three books for consideration, fiction, non fiction or both. The suggestions are compiled and each person votes on six books. The six books with the most votes are the ones Rears will read and diss for the next six months. Reader members are assigned to lead monthly discussions.
Monthly meetings are courteous, thoughtful, interesting perspectives that often relate to personal experiences, not only adding depth to the books but to each other as well. Come join us. Drop ins are welcome📚

I have just moved to the neighborhood and am interested in attending these meetings. When will the next one be held and which book will be discussed?
Hi Kerri,
The next UUSS Readers meeting is July 27 th, 7 PM, in Fahs. The book for July is HORSE by Geraldine Brooks. We are in the process of voting for the next six books and will announce the results at the July meeting.
If you respond to the email with your direct email, I will add you to the Reader’s list that I send out as a meeting reminder each month. We will be happy to have you join our group. (I can’t see your email from this UUSS site).
