Reading & Responding to Poetry, Monday, Nov. 1, with JoAnn Anglin

Our poem to consider this coming Monday, November 1, is Tree of Life, by Michael Simms. It can be seen here. We will again “meet,” via ZOOM, at 10:00 a.m.   Go to uuss.org/online, and enter for our Lectio Divina gathering in the same way we “attend” Sunday services.  All welcome!

Samhain Ceremony (10/30)

UUSS CUUPs will hold a short Samhain ceremony on the East side of the church 5:45pm-6:15pm this Saturday, Oct. 30 with potluck before or after. Halloween costumes optional. Saturday, Oct. 9th: Thanks to UUSS Parkway Stewards for their efforts...

Saturday morning, ten UUSS Parkway Stewards came out and picked up a significant amount of trash on our UUSS mile (Mile 6/7 north on the ARP). The cooler weather was a welcome change. Our group energetically and cheerfully gathered up lots of debris and tossed food containers in and around fire damage and abandoned campsites.
