Racial Justice Orientation

The orientation is open to all who would like to learn more about racial equity and what we’re doing here at UUSS.  There are 4 rotating sessions on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 9:30 am. Participants may start the series anywhere in the rotation. Topics include:

  • Why a focus on racial justice at UUSS?
  • How UUSS is working to address racial equity and inclusion in our organization and the community.
  • Levels of Racism
  • Equity vs Equality vs Liberation
  • White Supremacy Culture and its characteristics
  • Intent vs. Impact
  • Tips for Taking Action

When: Monthly on the 2nd Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Where: Fahs Room

How: Check-in at the Main Hall then come to the Fahs Room.
