UUSS joins other congregations to provide housing for Family Promise
Every few months it is UUSS turn to host four families. The families arrive on a Sunday afternoon and will stay until the following Sunday leaving before the service begins. Bedrooms are created in different classrooms and meals are served in the Fahs Room. Monday through Friday the families leave by 7 am for work or to stay in the Family Promise Day Center and return to UUSS in the late afternoon for dinner and to stay overnight. On Saturday they leave campus at 10 am returning at 5 pm.
