Recovering Our Conversation From The Fray
Recovering Our Conversation From The Fray

As we prepare for United Nations Day, let’s meet some of our UU family from across the globe.
Tet writes, “Because we’ve known that ethical ramifications loom larger than doctrine, we have held doctrine more loosely. But this has caused challenges in transmitting religious ideas. Passing on tradition has become a problem especially since we hold the view that there is sanctity in everything. So if there is something UUs can offer the world, we cannot help but look at our congregational culture beyond the formal gestures and the required pleasantries. How do we become a real gateway for free inquiry in community?”
