The poet Mary Oliver offers the following “Instructions for living a life: Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.” These “instructions” are truly telling us one way to live religiously. The Rev. Martha Hodges will reflect on the challenges and rewards of paying attention and why doing so is a religious endeavor.
