Compassion and Judgment
Compassion and Judgment
by Rev. Dr. Roger D. Jones
Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento
Sunday, December 17, 2017
Judging yourself hurts, yet is much easier than cultivating compassion, and judging others is so much more fun! This is part of a sermon series based on Karen Armstrong’s book, Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life. It’s the middle of Hanukkah, the third Sunday of Advent, and the Sunday before Winter Solstice. Our church is the place to be in such a gracious time of year!
