Save the Date!  Art for Humanity: A Refugee Art Exhibition

Please save the evening of Thursday, September 29, 2016 for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Sacramento’s Art for Humanity event to be held at the Warehouse Artist Lofts and featuring the creativity of refugees resettled in Northern California.  More info about this event can be found here.

To kick-off Art for Humanity early bird ticket sales ($45), the IRC in Sacramento invites you to a free screening of Salam Neighbor at the Milagro Centre on the evening of Thursday, July 28, 2016. You can RSVP here.

Salam (Hello) Neighbor is a film and campaign that focuses on the lives of Syrian refugees living in Jordan’s Za’atari Camp. Two American filmmakers, Zach and Chris, set up a tent within the camp – the first filmmakers allowed in by the United Nations.
