- Good lighting (flexible, variable intensity, special lighting for theatrical events, lighting for wall art)
- Good sound system
- Good acoustics
- Convenient parking (in physical proximity to the event
- Adequate amount of restrooms for those attending the event
- Proximity to the kitchen
- Capacity for food storage(related to the event)
- Foyer/entry space (a separate space from the main room)
- Dias and/or central focal point for speaker/performer/etc
- Changing rooms
- Close childcare space
- Space for grand piano
- Coat room
- Storage-chairs, theater props and other theater stuff
- Musician space (which would be out of the main flow-ie not in the way)
- A larger stage than what we have now
- This space should be desirable as a rental space (ie to the public, should be capable of being revenue producing)
- Air conditioned
- Should have should have internet accessibility (wifi) and capacity for power point presentations, etc.
- Aesthetically pleasing, including floor (i.e. not linoleum)
- Comfortable chairs
- Separate serving area for food
- Ability to acoustically wall off noise from kitchen and serving area
- Retractable built in screen(for movies, presentations, slides, etc.)
D. Ideas that belong in other categories
- Good (upgraded) cooking facilities
- Good (upgraded ) stove
- multipurpose outdoor space: amphitheater, terrace, shade - should be able to walk to this outside space in more formal attire (i.e. high heels, nice clothes as might be worn for a wedding or memorial service)
